Kitesurfing in Tatajuba

Where the Wind Never Fails

From July to January, Tatajuba comes alive with one of the most consistent wind seasons in the world — a true paradise for kitesurfers. The strongest winds blow between October and November, creating ideal conditions for both progression and pure adrenaline.

Here, a steady side-onshore breeze blows with nearly 99% wind reliability from July through February, averaging 17 to 23 knots in July, August, and February — and often exceeding 30 knots during the high season. It’s no surprise Tatajuba is considered one of the most wind-secure kitesurfing destinations on the planet.

Tatajuba Beach

Tatajuba Beach is a fishing village on Ceará’s west coast, in the municipality of Camocim, located between Camocim and Guriú—a rustic, natural destination for those who love nature and tranquility. It’s also a favorite spot for kitesurfing: the best season usually runs from June to January, with winds around 17–30 knots in the strongest months. The shallow waters are ideal for learning, progressing, practicing maneuvers freely, and doing freestyle.
